UPDATE -AUGUST 2026: U.S. FEDERAL TRADEMARK LITIGATION
Royal Equestrian® wishes to provide an important update regarding the unaffiliated UK business operating through royalequestrian.co.uk.
A federal trademark infringement action concerning the use of the ROYAL EQUESTRIAN® name is now pending in the United States District Court for the Central District of California:
Case No. 2:26-cv-08912
Federal Trademark Infringement — 15 U.S.C. § 1114
The defendants have now been formally served. The litigation remains pending, and no final determination has yet been made by the Court.
Important Notice to U.S. Customers royalequestrian.co.uk is a separate UK retailer and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or part of Royal Equestrian® / royalequestrian.net.
We continue to receive communications from U.S. customers who purchased products through the UK website and subsequently contacted Royal Equestrian® regarding U.S. customs duties, tariffs, shipping charges, returns, warranties, and other order-related matters, apparently believing the UK retailer was connected with our brand.
Royal Equestrian® is not responsible for purchases made through royalequestrian.co.uk, including customs duties, tariffs, shipping charges, returns, refunds, warranties, or other obligations arising from transactions with that business.
The UK retailer is not authorized by Royal Equestrian® to sell Royal Equestrian® branded products.
Customers purchasing third-party brands from the UK retailer should direct all questions concerning those purchases, including international shipping and import charges, directly to the retailer from which they purchased.
U.S. customers may also wish to contact the manufacturer or brand directly to confirm whether products purchased from this UK retailer are covered by the manufacturer's warranty in the United States and whether the retailer is authorized by that brand to sell and ship its products outside the United Kingdom, including to customers in the United States.
